"Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. " ~ Rainer Maria Rilke

Welcome to the second edition of the ethical.net newsletter! It's been a wee while since we stopped by to say hi (sorry about that)—so let's dive right in to what we've been up to! |
|
Project updates |
|
The development of our platform (in case you missed it, we're building a collaborative directory of ethical companies of all kinds—not only tech!) is taking, predicatably, a little longer than we initially expected! But as we've had a few kind developers and data scientists volunteer to help our little team iron out the kinks in the code, we're still on track to be live within the next few months.
In the meantime, we’re working on doing the research on ethical companies, and writing up guides. Included alongside company profiles in the directory, the guides will offer advice on ways you can minimise your environmental and social impact beyond simply buying from ethical companies (e.g. "How to Divest Your Personal Finances From Fossil Fuels").
If you have any suggestions for guides you’d like to see, or just want to chat about life, the universe and everything, don’t hesitate to drop us a line at hello@ethical.net!
Until next time,
Sarah, Anca, Cata and the ethical.net community |

In a nutshell, this ambitious project is calling for a wilder, greener, healthier and happier city by encouraging more interactions between city dwellers and the (still!) abundant natural world. |
